School and university students to attend the 29th Belgrade Jazz Festival for just 100 dinars!
29th Belgrade Jazz Festival, organised and hosted by the Belgrade Youth Centre (Dom omladine Beograda), will present All the Faces of Jazz - the giants of the contemporary jazz scene – from 24th to 28th October 2013, with a special surprise awaiting the youth! In completing its mission to make quality programmes affordable to the Belgrade and Serbian youth, the Belgrade Youth Centre provided a limited number of tickets for the 29th Belgrade Jazz Festival, at a special price of 100 dinars for school and university students. 100 tickets for the 29th Belgrade Jazz Festival opening ceremony in Sava Centre and 20 tickets per each concert on the main repertoire to be held in the Main Hall of the Belgrade Youth Centre are on sale right now!
This category of tickets will be sold exclusively at the Eventim ticket desk inside the Belgrade Youth Centre. It is necessary for school and university students to show their student IDs when buying the tickets and when entering the concert halls.

Standard ticket prices for the 29th Belgrade Jazz Festival will range from 600 to 2,200 dinars. The tickets will be available for purchase from any Eventim ticket office, as well as on-line at http://www.eventim.rs/en/tickets/29-belgrade-jazz-festival-169/promo.html
The limited number of ticket sets for the main repertoire of the BJF will be available for purchase at a promotional price of 4,500 dinars for 10 concerts, only at the Belgrade Youth Centre ticket desk.
During the 29th Belgrade Jazz Festival, the audience can expect to see more than 15 concerts of the most popular jazz artists from the USA, Europe and Serbia. After the ceremonial opening in Sava Centre, all remaining concerts will be held at the Belgrade Youth Centre venue.
The Festival audience will have a chance to see various jazz artists and musicians, such as Cassandra Wilson- one of the leading jazz singers of today, the legendary saxophonist Lee Konitz, new rising stars- Vijay Iyer’s trio, duo Petrella and Guidi, Ronin and Lars Danielsson, a specially commissioned project for the Festival by Ana Sofrenović and new stars of the home jazz scene- bands Eyot and Fish in Oil. The Belgrade Jazz Festival will be joining the celebration of the Big Band RTS’ 65th anniversary that will certainly be enhanced by the orchestra’s special guest, namely one of the best European trumpet players, composers and arrangers – Bert Joris.
This once again confirms that the Belgrade Jazz Festival enjoys the highest acclaim when it comes to the international jazz scene, and that it fulfils its mission of promoting the art of music in our society, as one of the leading international events in the country.
